Education Matters That Will Now Receive Attention
With the implementation phase of the non-principal’s qualification now satisfactorily completed, the following matters will receive the ongoing attention of the Education and Training Department, namely:
- The compilation of study material for the National Certificate: Real Estate (NQF Level 5) for principal estate agents;
- The compilation of a Continuing Professional Development policy, as envisaged in the education regulations, for approval by the Board; and
- The compilation of the Professional Designation Examination for qualified non-principal estate agents. The first such examination is presently scheduled to be held on 18 June 2009 while successful candidates will be granted a Certificate of Professional Recognition by the EAAB.
