Submission of Auditor’s Reports
Estate Agencies are reminded of the due date for the submission of Auditor’s Reports which is four months from the financial year end of each Estate Agency.
Before submitting your auditor’s reports please make sure of the following:
• If it’s fully completed and signed by the auditors
• Auditors are registered with the Independent Regulatory Board For Auditors(IRBA)
• Name of the agency firm is registered with the EAAB
• The agency do not sign their own auditor’s report
• It is not signed by the bookkeeper or personal assistant
• The report is legible

Principals must take note of the following:
• It is the responsibility of the Firm Principals to ensure that their Auditor’s Reports are submitted before the due date.
• To avoid payment of penalty fees for late submission of auditor’s reports, Estate Agencies must, at all times, ensure that they submit their auditor’s reports before the due date.
• Any late submission of Auditor’s Report with or without any extension request will be subject to a penalty fee of R500.
