25 November 2009 The Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) Announces the New Appointment of Vice President: Mrs Nomonde Mapetla
25 NOVEMBER 2009
The Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) announced on 19 November 2009 that Mrs Nomonde Mapetla, the Chief Executive Officer of the Estate Agency Affairs Board, had been appointed as Senior Vice-President of that organisation. This is the first time in the history of ARELLO, which was established in 1930, that this immense honour has been bestowed on a non-North American estate agency regulatory jurisdiction and redounds to the credit not only of the EAAB but, also, of South Africa as a whole.
ARELLO comprises official governmental agencies and world organisations that issue real estate licenses and/or registrations in addition to regulating real estate practice and enforcing real estate law. This prestigious appointment places the EAAB at the forefront of international estate agency regulation and ensures that it will not only remain privy to emerging international trends and best practices but also play an active role in these developments.
Mrs. Mapetla was, at the recent annual conference of ARELLO, recognised for her exemplary efforts in mobilising international membership of ARELLO, contributing to the enhancement of its strategies and structures and making a significant contribution to the finding of solutions for the many problems characterising international estate agency regulation.
The EAAB looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship with ARELLO in the interests of all stakeholders.
